Ik bedenk reclame. En dat kan van alles zijn. Van tv-scripts tot activaties. Van stunts tot social video’s. Of een idee waar al die dingen weer onder vallen. 360 (trie sikstie) heet dat. Je merkt het al. Ik probeer het allemaal niet moeilijker te maken dan het is. Liefst simpeler. Want mensen thuis zitten niet te wachten op moeilijk. Sterker nog. Ze zitten helemaal niet op je te wachten.
Dus ik ben geen ‘storyteller’. Of ‘award-winning creative’. Wat dan wel? Ik dacht ooit aan de term ‘no-nonsense nonsense maker’. Maar zelfs dat vond ik uiteindelijk een tikkie pretentieus. Ik wil gewoon leuk en opvallend werk maken. Op dit moment doe ik dat bij TBWA\NEBOKO. Daarvoor deed ik dat bij N=5, 180, DDB en Havas. En tussendoor werkte ik zelfs vier jaartjes bij The Martin Agency in Amerika.
